Tania Kolarik (PhD Candidate) and Claire Kilgore (PhD Student) have been accepted to the Newberry Library’s Dissertation Seminar on Gender, Power and Culture. This seminar begins in September and will end in May 2021. It provides an interdisciplinary community for students in the early phases of their dissertation.
Tania will use the seminar to help shape her dissertation chapter concerning gender and dress in Trecento Italy. Meanwhile, Claire will use the resources provided to produce her dissertation prospectus on late medieval German pregnancy and anatomical drawings.
