CDMC | Printmaking Action with Roberto Torres Mata

Join exhibiting artist Roberto Torres Mata for a quick printmaking demonstrations to students and community members with screenprinting and relief prints using a tortilla press. People are welcome to bring t-shirts, paper, and any type of surface to print on. People can participate in making prints while understanding the process and learning how to create repeatable images from multiple techniques. Will be fun, interactive and enjoy an evening of printing!
This event is free and open to the public.
This is hosted in conjunction with Intercambios: Art, Stories, & Comunidad on view January 19-April 10, 2022 in the Ruth Davis Design Gallery. This exhibition was developed with generous support from the Anonymous Fund, the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, and Latin American Caribbean and Iberian Studies.
