As the word “manifest” can represent something apparent to the senses or the mind, the diverse range of images in this exhibition are representative of how artists see and interact with the world around them.
These images range from natural landscapes to documentary work to staged narratives. Each artist uses the image — be it still or moving — to explore visual relationships relating to the human experience.
Manifest is an exhibition curated and organized by Art 576 featuring works selected from submissions by UW-Madison art students.
