“MORE THAN A WORD” DOCUMENTARY SCREENING

Join us for a Native November event, the screening of the documentary “More than a Word” by John Little and Kenn Little. The documentary analyzes the Washington football team and their use of the derogatory term R*dskins. Sponsored by Center for Design and Material Culture, Civil Society and Community Studies department at SoHE, and American Indian Studies. Includes a discussion afterward led by Assistant Professor, Kasey Keeler.

Pizza and beverages will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
Programming related to the “Intersections: Indigenous Textiles of the Americas” exhibition, on display in the Lynn Mecklenburg Textile Gallery through December 6th.
