Brazilian photographer and mixed-media artist Vik Muniz is known for repurposing everyday materials into re-creations of iconic artworks.
Sigmund, a photographic portrait of Sigmund Freud from a drawing made with chocolate syrup, is on view in the LOL! installation on the third floor of the Kinder Building.
“Conversations with Artists” brings MFAH curators together with the artists whose works shaped the inaugural installations and special commissions of the newly opened Nancy and Rich Kinder Building.
