Pick up the perfect, hand-crafted ornament for a loved one, or have a hand in crafting one yourself at Mad Gaffer’s Blow Your Own Ornament event. For $45, participants in the BYO-Ornament event will choose colors and have the opportunity to use hand tools and their own breath to shape and inflate their unique ornament!

*NEW! This year the Glass Lab will be opening up our Neon Lab for a new hands-on experience with glass and light-Bend Your Own Neon! For $200, participants will receive a demo and be guided through a hands-on bending lesson over our neon torches. Participants will leave their very own neon light!

Due to the intense popularity of this event, we are implementing advanced online reservations. The link to the sign-up will be posted on November 30th at 7:00 am. We anticipate selling out of BYO slots for both ornaments and neon, but the public is still invited to watch live glassblowing all weekend, and we will also be holding a glass sale. Come on out of the cold winter air, warm up with some hot glass and find some perfect gifts for the loved ones who light up your holiday season.

All proceeds of our holiday sale go towards UW Glass students to further their education by supporting field trips, visiting artist dinners, and supplies.
