On September 22, up your gratitude game and get some free snacks by taking a minute to thank a donor. Stop by a campus location that works best for you, write a thoughtful note, and tell a generous Badger or friend of the UW what their support means to you.
Philanthropy is an important part of what helps UW–Madison offer the very best to its students. Did you know that private gifts and grants make up 18 percent of the university’s budget? It’s true! During the last year, 780 donors contributed to the Student Emergency Fund, which raised more than $225,000 for students struggling during the pandemic. And in 2019-20, a total of 84,664 donors made 109,951 gifts to the UW.
A moment of your time will have a lasting impact on generous Badger supporters across the nation.
