Workshop: Late Medieval Textiles in the Helen Louise Allen Textile Collection

UW–Madison Art History Ph.D. Student Claire Kilgore and Ph.D. Candidate Tania Kolarik will lead a discussion of the late medieval textiles in the Helen Louis Allen Textile Collection. This workshop will discuss the liturgical and societal importance of textiles to medieval culture. We will also discuss how to use the Hello Looms and the role that weaving played in the creating of medieval textiles.
