Tania Kolarik

Ph.D. Student

Tania specializes in the art and architecture of early medieval Italy. Her MA thesis focused on processions and the idea of the heavenly Jerusalem through the use of colonnades in the triumphal arch mosaics of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome. She is currently exploring the ritualization of death and the Cult of the Saints through Italian Sacramentaries.
