Research Interests
The Black identity in Puerto Rican artworks; Black Women in Puerto Rican artworks; Decolonization in Puerto Rican artworks through the Black figure.
Biography
Tanairí plans to study the influence of African culture in Puerto Rican paintings and raise awareness of the African legacy through artworks. Her research interests include Puerto Rican paintings, African Studies, Afrodescendancy, and colonialism. Tanairí also loves to read, write, and enjoy nature.
