Kyungso Min

Position title: Ph.D. Candidate

Kyungso studies contemporary art and theories, with an emphasis on East Asian new media art. The ideas of translation, boundaries, and communities constitute the foundation for her dissertation research on global intimacy and transnational belonging in South Korean and Japanese art. She is particularly interested in the ways in which technologically-mediated modes of interaction create collective spectatorship and relational situations not reliant on shared languages.
