Tim Vermeulen

M.A. Student

Tim is a first-year MA student pursuing dual master’s degrees between the Department of Art History and the iSchool. His research centers on the emergence of the artist’s book and private press movements in the US during the twentieth century. He is also interested in the use of craft practices in reaction to changes in print and publishing technology, and the role which digital humanities can play in broadening access to rare book collections. Tim received a BA (2014) in art history from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and has previously held internships at the Smithsonian Institution Libraries and Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum.
