Ph.D. Candidates (from top left) Abby Armstrong Check, Tania Kolarik, and Claire Kilgore will be attending the 99th Annual Meeting of the Medieval Academy of America conference at the University of Notre Dame in March 2024. Kolarik and Armstrong Check co-organized, with Gabriela Chitwood (University of Oregon), the sessions: “Moving Through Sacred Medieval Interiors I: Processing Through Space” and “Moving Through Sacred Medieval Interiors II: Motion Through Interiors,” which are sponsored by the Association Villard de Honnecourt for the Interdisciplinary Study of Medieval Technology, Science, and Art (AVISTA). Armstrong Check, Kolarik, and Kilgore will all be presenting papers with Kolarik chairing the second session.
