The Annual Schewe Award Presentation recognizes the winner(s) of the Schewe Award for “best graduate student paper” of the previous academic year. The award is named after the late Douglas Schewe, a devoted supporter of the department, who created an endowment fund to have the winner of the paper give an annual presentation.
