ALL is pleased to present our monthly community poetry workshop IN PERSON at ALL. Registration is limited to 16. To participate, you must register in advance. Poems and prompts will be provided and each participant will have an opportunity to share work. This is a great way to access community, inspiration, and feedback.
About your instructor:
Poet, essayist, editor, and teacher Dana Maya is from “Greater Mexico”—a space transcending geopolitical, linguistic, & creative borders. She was educated at Vassar College & the University of Texas at Austin, with an orientation in Chicanx, Queer, & Race Studies. She has taught literature & writing at UT Austin, Madison College, schools, & community organizations. She collaborates with artists on projects for social change & is a member of the Spontaneous Writing Booth Collective.
