Day With(out) Art is an international day of mourning and action in response to the AIDS crisis. It is a time to celebrate the lives and achievements of lost colleagues and friends; encourage caring for all people with AIDS; educate diverse publics about HIV infection; and focus on finding a cure.
The Chazen Museum of Art is proud to partner with Visual AIDS for Day With(out) Art 2023 by presenting Everyone I Know Is Sick a program of five videos generating connections between HIV and other forms of illness and disability.
On December 1st, the Visual AIDS program, Everyone I Know is Sick will stream on a loop in the auditorium.
Wisconsin Union Art Directorate, Communication Madison, Vivent Health, and Sex Out Loud will share free art activities, information, and conversation around the AIDS crisis and queer activism in the lobby.
The program and activities are available from 12:00–5:00 p.m.; stop by any time!
