UW-Madison graduate students and faculty are invited to join 2023 Germaine Brée Lecturer Emma Capron (Acting Curator of Early Netherlandish and German Painting at the National Gallery, London) for a workshop and wide-ranging conversation about Capron’s recent work on the Italian painter Simone Martini, curatorship, museums, working with archival sources, her lecture from the evening before (see below), and other topics.
Lunch will be provided. Space limitations allow for only 12 participants, so please register here before 5pm on Friday October 6th to reserve your spot and receive any articles that will be discussed.
