Exhibition Celebration for “Shilpa Gupta I did not tell you what I saw, but only what I dreamt”
The exhibition, I did not tell you what I saw, but only what I dreamt presents the work of Mumbai-based artist Shilpa Gupta. Her interactive art encourages viewers to engage with and contemplate the influence of language on our understanding of vital issues such as changing national borders, freedom of speech, and censorship.
This celebration is free and open to the public.

Expand your understanding of I did not tell you what I saw, but only what I dreamt as Patricia Margarita Hernández, Associate Curator of Learning at Amant, speaks about artist Shilpa Gupta and her artistic practice. Hernández will elaborate on the various themes found within the works included in the exhibition.
