Ph.D. Candidate in Art History Fernanda Villarroel is featured in the American Council of Learned Societies announcement of 2020 Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Completion Fellows. The fellowships support a year of research and writing to help advanced graduate students in the humanities and social sciences in the last year of Ph.D. dissertation writing. With over 1,000 applications for 65 awards, the competition was quite rigorous this year. Fernanda Villarroel was also awarded a Sylvan C. Coleman and Pam Coleman Memorial Fund Fellowship by the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the 2021–22 academic year.
