Join us for the Annual Presentation of the Schewe Award for Best Graduate Student Paper during the 2017-18 academic year.
This year’s winner is Michelle Prestholt, Ph.D student, for her paper entitled “Oppositional Identities: The Monstrous Peoples at Vezelay and Their Ancient Roots,” which she wrote for Thomas Dale’s seminar in Medieval Art. Michelle is in her third year in the graduate program studying ancient art with Nicholas Cahill.
Michelle will deliver a version of her paper at 4:00 p.m. in Elvehjem L140 at 4:00 p.m. and the reception will follow immediately at the University Club.
