Student Spotlight: Ph.D. Student Ehsan Behbahani-Nia Appointed a Research Associate at the Université Bourdeaux-Montaigne

Ph.D. Student, Ehsan Behbahani-Nia, has been appointed to the position of research associate in the Ausonius Research Institute at the Université Bordeaux-Montaigne in France. Famous for its wine, Bordeaux is located in the southwest of France and the Université Bordeaux-Montaigne is considered one of the leading universities in Europe in the field of humanities, particularly in art history, archaeology, and archaeometry. Ehsan will be working on the research project titled: “L’Asie Mineure et la Méditerranée orientale: frontières, échanges, conflits.” This position provides an opportunity to access not only the resources of the Université Bordeaux-Montaigne, but also the CNRS and other French institutions. As a research associate, Ehsan will attend seminars and presentations hosted by the institute, and one of his first duties will be to organize a virtual conference for students of the archaeology master’s program on February 25, 2021.
