During the 54th International Congress on Medieval Studies on May 9th, 2019, PhD Student Tania Kolarik presented her paper “Rise and Fall: The Foreshadowing of Islamic Thinking and Commodities Reflected in the Triumph of Saint Thomas Panel of Santa Caterina in Pisa.” The ICMS, annually held in Kalamazoo, Michigan, brings together around 3,000 scholars of medieval studies.
