Dr. Antje Gamble’s (B.A .in Art History, 2005) first book is coming out from Routledge. Titled Cold War American Exhibitions of Italian Art and Design: “Italy at Work: Her Renaissance in Design Today”, this book is an interdisciplinary look at the 1950–53 exhibition and its contexts. Enriching the existing scholarship on the important exhibition, Italy at Work: Her Renaissance in Design Today (1950–53), this book investigates the exhibition that traveled to 12 American museums, showing over 2,500 objects, and was partially funded by the Marshall Plan.
