Professor Daniel Spaulding has been awarded a prestigious Wallace Fellowship at Villa I Tatti: The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies. While on this fellowship in the fall 2023 semester, Prof. Spaulding will conduct research on the German-American art historian Erwin Panofsky at the institute’s namesake villa, the former home of famed connoisseur Bernard Berenson, which is located in the hills above the city of Florence.
