Faculty News | Prof. Spaulding Wins Fellowship in Italy

Professor Daniel Spaulding has been awarded a prestigious Wallace Fellowship at Villa I Tatti: The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies. While on this fellowship in the fall 2023 semester, Prof. Spaulding will conduct research on the German-American art historian Erwin Panofsky at the institute’s namesake villa, the former home of famed connoisseur Bernard Berenson, which is located in the hills above the city of Florence. The Wallace Fellowship supports scholars pursuing research on the impact of the Italian Renaissance in the modern era. Learn more here.
