Caitlin is honored to be graduating from the UW–Madison Department of Art History as a Master’s student. Caitlin has a B.A. in Art History and French from University of Minnesota, Morris and an M.A. in Library and Information Studies from University of Wisconsin–Madison. During her time as an MA student in the Department of Art History, she was awarded the 2022 Douglas Schewe Award for Best Graduate Student Paper for her essay “Cité du moyen âge: Fez’s Tourism of the Past During the Early French Protectorate.” She also won the 2022 UW–Madison Libraries Staff Service Award for her work at the iSchool Library and was nominated for 2022 Student Employee of the Year for her work at the Helen Louise Allen Textile Collection. Caitlin’s Master’s thesis topic was on illustrated botanical books produced during the Victorian fern craze and their ecological impact.
