LauraLee Brott (Ph.D. Candidate) has won a J.B. Harley Research Fellowship in the History of Cartography. The fellowship will support her residency in London as she continues to conduct dissertation research at the British Library on the Tournai Maps of Asia and Palestine. Her project, “The Holy Land within the Manuscript: Performative Cartography in BL Add. MS 10049” investigates how the pair of maps interact with their manuscript setting.
