Sustaining Scandinavian Folk Arts in the Upper Midwest opens its traveling exhibition, “Traveling Traditions: Nordic Folk Arts in the Upper Midwest,” featuring fieldwork by Ph.D. Candidate Cortney Anderson Kramer. The exhibition is the culmination of a three-year-long partnership with the Wisconsin Arts Board and the Minnesota Arts Board. An expansion of the Wisconsin Idea, Sustaining Scandinavian Folk Arts focuses on public humanities programming while building an archive of educational resources on folk arts in the Upper Midwest.
