Professor Thomas E. A. Dale has been elected the First Vice-President of the Medieval Academy of America for 2020.
He also presented his latest research on race in medieval Venice at the Art, Power, and Resistance in the Middle Ages symposium at The Index of Medieval Art at Princeton University with his paper “Visualizing Jews and Saracens in the Myth of Venice after the Fourth Crusade” this past November.
