Art History Ph.D. Candidate Ehsan Behbahani-Nia has been awarded a distinguished fellowship to the American School of Classical Studies at Athens for the 2024–2025 academic year as part of the Regular Member Program.
The American School stands out for its unparalleled offering of a comprehensive, on-site exploration of Greek archaeology. This opportunity will provide Ehsan with invaluable perspectives and insights to enrich his dissertation and research on the exchange of architectural and construction techniques between Greek and Near Eastern civilizations. During this one-year program, Ehsan will get to meet and learn from top experts in the field and visit important archaeological sites all over Greece, covering thousands of years of history from Neolithic to Byzantine periods.
